Pierre-Yves Trémois (Paris, 1921) Pierre-Yves Trémois is a French draftsman, painter, engraver, and sculptor, a member of the Academy of Fine Arts. After studying at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts in Paris as a student of Fernand Sabatté, Pierre-Yves Trémois won the first Grand Prix de Rome in painting in 1943 and devoted himself to sculpture and the graphic art of engraving. The prolific artist seems to have produced over a thousand engravings.
