Born on April 3, 1905 in polo. Gne, georges goldkorn grew up in a setting where he cultivated Hasidism, one of the two major currents of modern Judaism. Bereck goldkorn and Rachel ehrlich encourage him to pursue religious studies until the age of 15 at a Torah study centre. He then left Talmudic school to enter high school.

After obtaining his baccalaureate, he followed the advice of the expressionist painter Henryk Gottlieb and decided to enter the Academy of Fine Arts of Krakow. He continued his studies at the Royal Academy of Bruxelles in 1927 and then at the Institut supérieur des beaux-arts d'Anvers. Here, he followed the teaching of isidore opsomer, a realistic and post-impressionist painter from Belgium, and rik wouters, a Belgian Fauvist painter from the beginning of the 20th century. The invasion of the belgium in 1940 led him to move in france. World War I, he joined the Polish army, but was deported to the gurt camp.

Georges goldkorn manages to escape and joins the resistance to lyon. After the war, he moved to bets where he would stay for the rest of his life. He was naturalized French in 1947, then married andrée yvonne doris with whom he lived on rue nous-dame-des-champs. It was on 23 July 1977 that Georges goldkorn died, in the hospital of the saltpêtrière.
