Venise: the flowered gondola, 1899. On fine vellum 39.5 x 29 cm c. 15.5 x 11.5 in. Authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher "Les Maîtres de l'affiche" and "Imprimerie Chaix".

INFORMATION: this lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in Imprimerie Chaix. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate no. 171) which represented the most beautiful illustrated posters of the great artists of the time. Lithograph of the poster for the East Railway Company: "From Paris to Venice via Belfort, Basel, Lucerne".
