Enzo Brunori is a painter born in 1924 in Perugia, where he was trained at the Art Institute with Domenico Caputi, who directed him towards the Roman school, and Enzo Rossi, who deeply influenced him, pointing towards the mastery of Cézanne. From 1944, he studied with Gerardo Dottori at the Pietro Vannucci Academy. Immediately after the war, Lionello Venturi taught at the University for Foreigners, instilling in him a love for modern French painting. Signed and dated in pencil by the artist.
