This personal encounter of induced visual clarity manifested a phenomenon where he saw in his mind's eye fully realized landscapes in vivid colors. He immediately got to work on his'beach paintings'- which started as works on paper - and have become his hallmark. For this piece, the printers took a pre-existing painting of mine and created a print of it. First, they created a digital file of the elements in the image, as flat individual layers, then i selected colors that were reflective of the original.
